Engager was founded as a social impact vehicle for the shift to a 21st-century knowledge economy. With a focus on media and commerce, the aim was to serve as a connecting layer between niche economies.

Networked Cooperatives examines how community-driven models can realign healthcare incentives toward prevention and wellness. Where AI is currently designed for profit, the cooperative structure is designed for trust — involving patients, caregivers, and contributors in the care process itself.

Ontological Commitments is a publication about what we build into systems — and what those systems commit us to in return. Each article takes a position on the structural foundations of economic cooperation, collective governance, and institutional trust—grounded in the conviction that trust emerges from structure, not from assertion.
HOSSAIN PAZOOKI lives and works in New York City. He builds, researches, and writes about AI systems, evaluation, and the architecture of trust.
His path runs from building things to proving they can be trusted. He started as an econometrics research assistant at USC's Institute for New Economic Thinking, then spent his early career as a founding engineer shipping 0→1 products — first for a metal 3D-printing ML platform in Los Angeles, later as co-founder of his own venture in New York. That work led him into healthcare with Orawell Group in New York — the period Networked Cooperatives covers — where building systems whose failures reach patients became the origin of his working discipline: nothing load-bearing is trusted until it survives an attempt to break it. Today that discipline is his research subject. As an AI Research Fellow with the Algoverse program, he studies how the oversight of LLM agents degrades and how evaluation can be made to hold, while his open systems put the architecture of trust into practice — a financial data lakehouse that answers only with what was knowable at the time, a rule-execution engine that separates interpretation from authority, and a validation harness that measures exactly where model correction fails.
